STAR Puppy AKC Dog Training Class

Join us for a 7 week course that focuses on introduction to basic cues: come, sit, down, stay, and loose leash walking.

Barbara covers impulse control, puppy issues and polite greeting behavior. She incorporates enrichment activities and exposure to sensory experiences to help your puppy learn with distraction.

This class is based on the AKC's STAR Puppy Program, and includes the test on the last session. It is a fun, no-pressure introduction to obedience and good social skills. The last half hour is recess.

The day you book on this calendar is the first day of your seven-consecutive-week program, held the same time and day each week. You will pay a booking deposit to hold your place and will then pay remainder of class fees to the trainer. This seven week program is $180.

Each new cohort begins every 7 weeks. Once enrolled, class takes place weekly.
